Plans and executes internal and external research on Food Process Big Bets (select research with potential for high impact on our businesses) to develop technologies to fuel the Operating Divisions• innovation and productivity programs. There are 2 Food Processing Big Bets funded in 2009.
Translates research objectives into strategic and tactical project goals and plans.
Prime moves and executes research.
Makes significant technical advances utilizing internal and external resources.
Delivers technical proof of principles through sound experimentation and thoroughness.
Transfers knowledge and supports initial commercialization of new technologies.
Surveys both industry and academia for new technologies for potential application to our food processes.
Requirements: Masters or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Food Science preferred. Bachelors minimum.
Some experience in research desirable.
