Senior Scientist Ii / Beverage Nutrition Job

Role Summary:
Support the development and implementation of nutrition strategies with an emphasis on the global beverage business. To develop guidance, translate nutrition science into product messages, and support the identification of new nutritional opportunities for the global beverage portfolio. Support the transformation of the beverage portfolio to deliver against the R&D nutrition agenda and health & wellness business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation and implementation of nutrition strategies for the US beverage portfolio
Partner with Beverage R&D teams to support the creation of compelling nutrition solutions that differentiate PepsiCo beverages and connects to long term research initiatives
Partner with Beverage R&D and Marketing teams to provide expertise on the translation of nutrition science into compelling package and other communication messages
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across R&D and other key stakeholders to support business growth initiatives
Support the implementation of portfolio transformation strategies to achieve human sustainability goals and metrics

Requirements: Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years food or beverage consumer products experience, academic experience that blends science and business or a combination of both.
Masters or PhD degree in Nutrition or closely related field
Creativity, Innovation, excellent communication skills
Proven collaborative, leadership and influencing style
Ability to manage and help technical and non-technical partners understand nutritional complexities across R&D, business partners and corporate functions.
