Technical Manager, Beverage Processing Job

Provides strong technical leadership and strategic insight to PepsiCo beverage processing research programs.
Leads internal development of breakthrough food processing technology to fuel the Operating Divisions• innovation and productivity programs.
Supports defining group's agenda, priorities and work plans for their area of accountability.
Supports maintenance of the Technology Roadmap for Beverage Processing Research and deploys resources based on priorities.
Identifies and sponsors new technologies for research.
Maintains a broad-based external knowledge of research and emerging technologies sourced domestically and internationally; commercially and academically across all fields of study•not solely process research.
Establishes relationships with external subject matter experts in industry and academia. Leverages these relationships through funding specific research at these companies and institutes.
Establishes partnerships with Operating Divisions to provide proof-of-principle transfer the knowledge and support the development and initial commercialization of new technologies.
Requirements: Masters or PhD in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry preferred. Bachelors minimum.
Minimum 8 years industrial or academic research and development experience
